Change Mailing Address | Credit Card Payment | Tax Certificate Online | PAP Plan
2020 Property Tax Due Date WEDNESDAY, September 30, 2020
Property Tax Notices will be mailed the end of May 2020 and payments are to be received by Wednesday, September 30, 2020 @ 4:30 pm.

Town of Osoyoos Tax Calculations
- Unpaid 2020 taxes (including unclaimed Home Owner Grants) are subject to a 5% late payment penalty.
- This 5% penalty will be applied to current outstanding taxes after 4:30 pm on Wednesday, September 30, 2020.
- An additional 5% penalty will be applied to current outstanding taxes on December 31, 2020.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
A variety of payment methods are available:
- Mail a Cheque - Box 3010, Osoyoos, BC V0H 1V0
- Drop off your payment in the mail slot (left hand side of door) at Town Office located at 8707 Main Street.
- E-Transfer

- Local Financial Institution
- Telephone/Internet Banking - *If making your payment through Telephone or Internet banking your account number is the folio/roll number located at the top right of your tax notice. Enter with no spaces and no decimals, i.e. 55600987000.
HOME OWNER GRANTS (HOG)
We no longer accept HOG applications directly. To apply, visit the provincial website eTaxBC. If you have any questions, please contact the Home Owner Grant Administration Branch. In Victoria: 250-356-8904 or 250-387-8166. Toll-free from anywhere in B.C.: 1-888-355-2700.

PRE-AUTHORIZED PAYMENT PLAN
2020 taxes must be paid in full by 4:30 pm on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 in order to participate in the 2021 Payment Plan.
Sign up for the Town’s “Property Tax Pre-Authorized (Monthly) Payment Plan”. Contact the Finance department or click on the link below for the “Property Tax Pre-Authorized (Monthly) Payment Plan” form. Please ensure you read and understand the terms and conditions before submitting an application.

PROPERTY TAX DEFERMENT
Tax deferment is a low interest Provincial loan that helps BC homeowners pay their annual property taxes on their principal residence.
To defer your Property Taxes you must first pay your annual utilities (water user fees, sewer user fees, and garbage fees on your Property Tax Notice) claim your Home Owner Grant, and a completed Property Tax Deferment form must be done online. The same applies to annual renewal Property Tax Deferment forms.
