Osoyoos Town Centre Renewal Plan Public Forum on June 13

COMMUNITY DISCOVERY WORKSHOP

Downtowns are the heart of any community: a place to shop, dine at a restaurant, obtain services, attend cultural events, meet people, and for many, a place of employment.  A vibrant and healthy downtown is especially important for Osoyoos' continued success as a service and tourist centre, and for attracting new business and residential growth.  Recognizing this importance, the Town of Osoyoos is inviting business owners and operators along with the residents of Osoyoos to attend a Town Centre Forum on:

Date:              Wednesday, June 13, 2018
Time:              6:45 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
Location:       Rm 4/5, Sonora Community Centre
                         8505 – 68 Avenue

The goal of the Town Centre Forum is to jump-start the Town Centre Renewal Plan by holding a public meeting with our community leaders, business owners and operators and residents to address four (4) specific Town Centre Development Programs:

  • Physical Improvements
  • Business Development
  • Promotional Activities
  • Organization Building

Participants will take part  in  small round table discussions about the key opportunities and challenges facing our town centre.
