Notice of Disposition of Land for Building Lease at 8701 Main Street
Former Destination Osoyoos Building
Pursuant to Section 26 of the Community Charter and in accordance with Section 94, notice is hereby given that the Town of Osoyoos intends to lease the facility formerly known as the Destination Osoyoos Building located at 8701 Main Street and legally described as Lots 5 – 7, Plan 5120, LD 54, DL2450s, PID 010-379-304 and comprising of 2,800 sq. ft., for a year to year term for a maximum of 3 years.
Proposals must include intended use and what modifications, if any, will be required to the building and the yearly lease fees payable by the bidder (which must be within fair market value for Osoyoos). The bidder must be able to obtain liability insurance in the amount of $2 million or more dependent upon intended use.
Proposals will be accepted in sealed envelopes clearly marked "Lease of 8701 Main Street" until 2:00 PM Monday, September 25, 2017. The highest lease rate or any proposal may not necessarily be accepted by the Town. Notwithstanding any industry custom or the tendering guidelines of any organization, the Town may, in its discretion, refuse all proposals without giving reasons.
A tour of the building will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 21, 2017. Interested parties are asked to meet at Town Hall.
