On May 8, 2013 the Launch of the “New and Improved” Town Website went LIVE!

The previous Town website’s physical appearance was out of date and did not provide contemporary services to users. Council provided administration with a $10,000 budget to develop the website/project.  General direction was provided by Council that a more interactive and contemporary website was needed.  Administration made the decision to continue with iCompass Technologies as the Town’s website provider.

This new website represents a new era for the organization. The new website is interactive, enabling users to make direct requests for service, respond to feedback questions and receive information that is current and readily-accessible.  Our website will provide the Town with a vehicle to communicate important information to our residents.  It will serve more purposes than just providing information to our residents.  It is a marketing tool as well as a service provider vehicle.  The website has been well organized and will continue to have eye catching content.  Information will be continuously updated by individual department staff and any non relevant information will be removed.

Some highlights of the “New and Improved” website features are: Rotating Photos on the Home Page; Select Language feature; Advanced Searching; “I Want To…” for easy access to FAQ's; Increase Text Sizing; Share Page(s) using Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn; RSS Feeds to subscribe to Current News and Upcoming Events; Quick Links; Polling on certain topics; "Osoyoos Listens" online request submissions; Spotlight for hot topics; Site Map listing of all web pages; Print Friendly pages.

Please be sure to submit your Poll on the "Launch of the New and Improved Town Website" located on the home page.
