FORTISBC Energy Conservation Assistance Program
The Energy Conservation Assistance Program (ECAP) provides income-qualified residential customers with a free home energy evaluation, energy-savings products and advice. Visit fortisbc.com/myecap for eligibility requirements and program details.

Eligibility requirements*
- You must be a residential BC Hydro or City of New Westminster electricity customer.
- OR
- You must be a FortisBC residential electricity customer or a municipal electricity customer of Grand Forks, Summerland, Penticton or Nelson Hydro.
- You must live in a detached house, duplex, townhouse or mobile home.
- You must have a combined household income that meets the thresholds below (proof of income required):
Household size ​Income threshold ​1 person ​$32,000 ​2 persons ​$39,800 ​3 persons ​$48,900 ​4 persons ​$59,400 ​5 persons ​$67,400 ​6 persons ​$76,000 ​7 or more persons ​$84,600
